Metadata

A flat object of per-page field values, stored at data.metadata. Each key is a field defined in the metadata config.

{
  "title": "Hello, world",
  "description": "Lorem ipsum"
}

Metadata values are not rendered. Your app reads them directly, for example data.metadata.title, to populate the document <head>. See Metadata Configuration.

Read-only fields

readOnly isn’t stored in data.metadata. Field locks come from the metadata config’s permissions or from the readOnly returned by its resolveData, and are recomputed whenever the editor loads.

TypeScript

The Metadata<Props> type describes the flat values for a given set of props.
